On Monday, June 24, 2024, several St. Alphonsus parishioners traveled to Chattanooga to accompany the Blessed Sacrament along part of its pilgrimage through the Diocese of Knoxville. The morning started with a talk and visual tour of the Basilica of Saints Peter & Paul, followed by Adoration and Mass. Evening Adoration began at 7 p.m.; the procession to the Catholic Student Center at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga wended its way through the streets of the city at 7:30. Between times, a break in the activities allowed for recreational pursuits by some of the participants.
