The purpose and aim of the Parish Pastoral Council is to advise and assist the pastor in formulating programs and policies toward the growth and betterment of the Parish.  The Parish Pastoral Council does this to the best of its ability, and always according to the Parish Mission Statement: 
As disciples of Jesus Christ, the Catholic community of St Alphonsus is committed to knowing, loving and serving God, and his creation.
