Advises the pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.
Held Friday evenings during Lent in the church at 6:00PM, followed by soup and salad in Liguori Hall.
Volunteers who greet attendees at weekend Masses and funerals, hold doors and assist people to their seats, as necessary.
The Knights of Columbus is a worldwide charitable fraternal organization of Catholic men, founded in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1882, by Father Michael J. McGivney, to care for widows and orphans. This charism is complemented today by the organization’s ongoing outreach to the hungry, the developmentally disabled and the most defenseless, including the unborn. Council 8152 meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Knights of Columbus Hall (2892 Highway 70 East). Meetings begin with informal dinner at 5:30, followed by recitation of the Rosary at 6. Meeting begins at 6:30. Assembly 2162 meets the third Wednesday of each month, also at 6 p.m. at the Knights' hall.
