Pre-K to 1st Grade Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is a Montessori-based religious formation program for preschool to 1st grade children. In a specially prepared, peaceful space called the Atrium, children engage with hands-on materials to explore Scripture, liturgy, and the life of Jesus, the Good Shepherd. Through presentations like the Parable of the Good Shepherd, Infancy Narratives, and biblical geography, children develop a personal relationship with God through prayer, contemplation, and joyful discovery. Each session includes a presentation, work time with materials, and communal prayer, fostering a deep, reverent connection to faith.
2nd Grade to 4th Grade Creating Christ's Disciples (CCD) Using the Christ Our Life program from Loyola Press, our catechesis will help give students the proper footing needed for faith-filled living. Students will continue to be formed into followers of Christ by focusing on Scripture, the Sacraments, and the Mass.
5th to 12th Grade Youth Ministry Youth Ministry offers a community atmosphere for youth to explore thier faith. It combines great, relevant catechesis with social activities and service projects. A wide variety of materials are used to mentor the youth on their journey to grow closer to Christ and His Church.
